Special Guests coming up at The Apollo Sessions
Jimmy Cinders: I studied advertising and then fine art in Dublin . I travelled widely working as a sculptor and painter to places
including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, England, Cork, Spain and France. I spent the last 5 years in Berlin. While there I
started to write songs and to rekindle my interest in music and performance, I played there with a variety of people, and formed a
band called the love puppets with Jez Green on piano, Mark Jones on Drums and Martin Klein on bass ,which is still remembered
by people around Kreuzberg. In august 2006 I returned to Ireland and have been playing live in various places around town, and
writing new songs, I'm also interested in video production.
Jane Willow: Dutch singer-songwriter Jane Willow decided moving to Dublin would be the chance for her to get her music career
going. After being kicked of music school back in Holland she made the bold move to do a combination of open-mics, busking on
grafton street and recording and playing with other musicians in Dublin. At only 21 she's devoting all of her time to a combination
of music, poetry and earning a living as a street busker. Her new songs have grown lyrically, melodically and vocally stronger.
Vocally she often is compared with the likes of Eva Cassidy and Lisa Hannigan. So be sure to look out for this new young and
vibrant artist called Jane Willow!
Jane will be joined by Julian Muller this Sunday
As always, all performers are welcome. Kick off 8.30pm
