FEBRUARY LINEUP
Arts club Monday February 6th
As you know every Arts Club is a little different to the previous one as we endeavour to gather an ecclectic mix for you to enjoy - this month certainly ticks that box.

We will have presentations from two photographers -
Abigail Denniston, a self-taught Dublin based photographer will present her work (see event image) and Conor Ó Mearáin, an award winning photographer; and his body of work for the show is about former women combatants.

Christodoulos Makris will give a presentation about his new book 'Muses Walk' is due in March 2012, which is a contribution to 'An Inventory of Al-Mutanabbi Street', a worldwide artist's book project aiming to "re-assemble" the "inventory" lost in the bombing of Baghdad's Al-Mutanabbi Street - a street of booksellers, coffee shops etc, and the intellectual hub of the city
for centuries. Also,
Eleanor Hooker will perform her poetry for us.

In comedy we have two very different performance, firstly the Spanish duo
'Kidding Ensemble' will present their clowning with a difference and secondly, the co-writer and star of the hit series 'The Savage Eye' John Colleary gives us a taste of his unique brand of comedy and hilarious impersonations.

Musically we have the talented young clarinet player
Tiernan Jones, harpist Turlough Eccles and lastly, Neal Wright (of Locoswing Jazz swing band) playing with the outstanding Romanian violinist Rudy Bado will take your breath away!

Best of all, it's a chance to meet interesting and friendly people in a relaxed environment, we look forward to seeing you.
